We group together sites which provide information that probably only appeals to some of our readers. The groupings overlap and probably also contain gaps but this is, at least, an attenpy to bring order to this very broad topic and allow for a more productive browsing experience. The styles listed refer to the way in which travellers go about their business, sometimes out of preference, sometimes as a necessity.

For lack of anywhere else suitable we also include expat(riate) sites here. These are travellers of sorts, they just don't get very far once away from home. They still often have some very interesting sites, and some very original ways of looking at the world.
